ESSEX JUNCTION—The Padre Pio Prayer Group will meet at Holy Family Church, 36 Lincoln St., March 10 at 8 a.m. Beginning with the rosary, there will be Mass and intercessory prayers to Padre Pio. Participants will then proceed to the Hoehl Room in the parish center for refreshments and a presentation on Padre Pio. All are welcome.

There will be music, dancing and singing by students from Essex, MMU and Rice Memorial high schools, together with other local talent. Desserts and beverages will be served. It will start at Holy Family Parish Center in Essex and then we will go to Metro Climbing facility in Essex for an overnight climb. Find out more »It is an Eastern European custom to bring a basket of food to Church on Holy Saturday to be blessed. Typically that could include ham, kielbasa, eggs, butter, salt and pepper, bread, a bottle of wine. Whatever your family would have for their Easter dinner. Holy Family church in Essex Junction will be blessing baskets on Holy Saturday, April 16th at 11am. Please join us and bring your basket.
