Typical submission types and expected timeframes for completion
*Timeframe refers to time between when request is sent and materials are delivered. Timeframe begins once a ticket is complete (contains all necessary information).
- Event/Campaign—4 weeks
- Event (a “happening” with a specific date and time), for example:
- Vermont Catholic Youth Serve
- Annual Women’s Retreat
- Totus Tuus
- Vermont Catholic Advanced Directives Presentation
- Campaign (an initiative or focus, could have a start and end date or could be ongoing), for example:
- National Child Abuse Prevention Month (April)
- Respect Life Month (October)
- Season of Creation (Sept. 1 – Oct. 4)
- Lent/Advent
- “40 Days of Faithful Citizenship” (leading up to last presidential election)
- Event (a “happening” with a specific date and time), for example:
- Branding, unique feel and logo, usually has its own events/campaigns—3 weeks (prior and in addition to 4 weeks required for events/campaigns themsleves)
- For example:
- Bishop’s Annual Appeal
- Year of Creation
- Year of the Family
- For example:
- Institution, rare—6 months
- For example:
- Therese Digital Academy
- Vermont Catholic Community Foundation
- Vermont Catholic Charities,
- For example:
“Black Out” dates
Please avoid requesting projects due during Vermont Catholic Magazine production deadlines. Also, the timeline for projects submitted during these times will not begin until after the “black out” dates have ended.
February 16 – March 10, 2023 (Spring issue)
May 18 – June 10, 2023 (Summer issue)
August 17 – September 8, 2023 (Fall issue)
November 16 – December 8, 2023 (Winter issue)
