The Essex Catholic Community will be celebrating a Memorial Day Mass at 8:30 am at Holy Family Cemetery. In case of inclement weather Mass will be held at Holy Family Church. Plenty of parking is available at
the church on Lincoln St.
The Celebrant will be Father Charles Ranges, S.S.E. The Post Communion Reflection will be delivered by Jane Davis. The topic is “The Joys and Challenges of being a Military Wife.” Jane grew up in a military family, is married to an active-duty member of the military and her son served in Afghanistan.
The Knights of Columbus will once again graciously provide refreshments after Mass.
If you wish to have a deceased member of the military remembered during the Prayers of the Faithful, please contact Mike Goodrich directly at mpgoodrich1026@gmail.com or 802-735-5595 no later than Saturday, May 27th. Include the individual’s full name, dates of service and branch of the military in which he/she served.
