Mastering Search at AmericanAncestors.org March 2, 2019
The New England Historic Genealogical Society (NEHGS) is the oldest genealogical society in the U.S. Ed McGuire will go over their website, AmericanAncestors.org, breaking down their collections including vital records, genealogical journals and an online version of The Great Migration Study. These last are easily searchable and can help you learn your ancestors’ stories. A detailed handout will be included. The website is available on our computers – so bring a lunch and stay to search for your ancestors. Classes at the Vermont Genealogy Library are $10 and run from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
