The Bible Study on the Parables of Matthew will begin Sunday, February 5, at 1:00 in the Father Lively Center. Jesus told His disciples that these teachings were given to them in particular, setting them apart from those who were not His followers.
Deacon Tom will begin this study with a brief overview of Matthew and then a closer look at parables concerning the Kingdom of Heaven in Chapter 13. On the next two Sundays, we will study the parables of mercy and justice in chapters18 and 20 (February 12) and parables on being ready for Christ’s return in chapters 21 and 24 (February 19).
Come join your brothers and sisters in this lead up to Lent as we deepen our knowledge of Scripture and understanding of the Lord’s teaching!
